Argentina recently began to immunise residents of working-class neighbourhoods with a CanSino Biologics's COVID-19 vaccine, as reported Global Times on Sunday.
Laura Fortuna, a nursing student helping to immunise residents, said that in working-class neighbourhoods the task is "to reach people who could not get vaccinated or who could not get to vaccination sites."
As the CanSino vaccine is a single dose "we use it a lot for low-income neighbourhoods," she added.
Argentina has received 600,000 doses of the single-dose CanSino vaccine, which is also easier to store than other vaccines.
